As a mom of 3, including a set of twins, I've been through quite the journey with my body. Even after shedding all the baby weight, I noticed that my stomach skin just wasn't the same. It was firmer, but the texture and elasticity was still off. Determined to find a solution, I discovered Lux Aesthetics, a luxurious and cutting-edge medi-spa owned and operated by the amazing Erin Bernstein, ARNP.

Ok, serious question Mamas… Have you ever been on vacation, stayed somewhere and thought: I MUST make this an annual tradition simply because it was so fun and felt so EASY? For me, the answer was No, until this past December that is… Taking our family to the Hotel del Coronado was exactly this type of experience, and I couldn’t help but think to myself, “OMG we have to make this an annual trip.” Every detail was stunning and there were so many unforgettable, festive activities on the property, not just for me but for my whole family.
Needless to say, this was such a dream opportunity. Over the summer, I was approached to do an interview and feature piece for Health Magazine. This was made possible by Emsculpt Neo and their mission to highlight modern mamas who are “normalizing” me-time and willing to try new technology to elevate themselves and their body goals to new heights. I was pretty pumped up to be selected for this feature and I’m even more excited now that I can share my full interview with you all… plus a Aw all the bright and sporty content I created for this collaboration. Ok, I had WAY too much fun dreaming up our Christmas decor this year! With the help of my UBER talented friend, Nicole Berlund, owner of Mini Soirées event planning here on Mercer Island, WA, and luxury balloon artist extraordinaire, Stephany Green, owner of Decorate + Celebrate with SG - we were able to bring my dreams of a very whimsical, very EXTRA, Christmas to life. Que the pink velvet ribbon, oversized nutcrackers, sparkly snowflakes, twinkling lights, and candy canes galore.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed that vacation is always a good idea.
Last month, my hubby and I escaped for a little work and a little play to the most breathtaking oceanfront property, SURF & SAND, for a much-needed kid-free vacay.
From our hometown on Mercer Island, WA, we boarded a 6am flight to soak up every minute of being off duty as parents. Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE our 3 cuties more than anything, but quality time with my hubby is hard to come by when we’re in our day-to-day routine at home. Sound familiar anyone?!
You may remember the article I shared earlier this year titled, Bikini Body Countdown with Advanced Skin and Body Solutions. I shared my truth about my struggle getting back into a bikini after having twins. It was a vulnerable share about disappointment after not achieving my bounce-back body as quickly as I had after my first pregnancy. Fortunately, through trial-and-error and lots of research, I was introduced to my dream-team at Advanced Skin and Body Solutions, who continue making ALL my body goals come to life.
VULNERABLE SHARE ALERT – As women, our bodies go through so MUCH from puberty to adulthood, and motherhood to menopause – there’s A LOT going on between hormones, weight gain… oh and, growing humans inside our bodies… etc. And through every stage we’re expected to love, accept, and embrace all the changes along the way. For some, that transition is easy. For most, like me, it’s been a STRUGGLE.

With amazing organization, creativity and excellent planning - all on a tight timeline, I’d like to add - Sharon was so fun and easy to work with.

Congratulations Mamas, we survived the oh-so-busy Holiday Season and surpassed the finish line for 2 0 2 0! I couldn’t be more excited to share the gorgeous collaboration that I just completed with Cheree Berry Paper This project was too FUN and too pretty to not share on The Model Mama. The backstory, Cheree Berry Paper started as a custom stationery shop, and has gradually evolved into an award-winning graphic design firm. I was drawn to their stunning paper creations because I love their unique ability to create designs that are both sophisticated, fun, and oh-so memorable. Oh hey, showstopper!
Like most pregnancies, my story begins with the unglamorous act of peeing on a stick. I was thrilled by those double lines, going so far as to save the pregnancy test in a cute box to present to my husband when I surprised him with the news. When I was 7 weeks along, we got the shocking and exhilarating news that I was brewing not one but two babies. I was pregnant with twins.
Aloha, Babes! I’m so excited to share about our magical trip to the Four Seasons Maui because this was truly the vacation of my dreams. The best part was sharing this unforgettable experience with Henry, Hubby, and the Twins in my tummy.
