Ok, I had way TOO much fun dreaming up our Christmas decor this year! With the help of my talented friend, Sharon Saritama, owner of Gatherings here in Seattle, we were able to bring my dreams of a pink Christmas to life. For months (who am I kidding…years!) I had visions of sugar plums dancing in my head, but I was overwhelmed with how to make my vision of a winter wonderland a reality - so I decided to bring in a professional. With amazing organization, creativity and excellent planning - all on a tight timeline, I’d like to add - Sharon was so fun and easy to work with.

Together, I’m pretty sure we sourced all the pastel-colored holiday items across the entire Seattle/Bellevue area. Linking all details below.

For the record, it only took me 8 years to convince my hubby to have a flocked tree and PINK everything. All I can say is, it was a million percent worth the wait! Seeing this all come to life has most definitely made this Christmas feel even more magical.

Side note, if you’re trying to win your husband over on something, I recommend the “kiss and persist” method. Just repeat yourself a million times over and over again, and hang a couple extra mistletoes! Oh, and just start shopping and show your overwhelming excitement, ask him for his help - emphasize that you can’t possibly accomplish this without him (“Honey, you’re so good at hanging ornaments!”). And remember babes, it’s always better to ask for forgiveness than permission.
