Ok Mamas, I don’t know about you, but my busy little one has been refusing to eat breakfast lately. Not because he’s not hungry, more so because he is just too excited to play with toys or pretend he’s a superhero (ha!). Basically anything other than actually sitting down to eat. This dilemma calls for some serious Mama creativity….
Once you’ve witnessed the power your body has to create a life, you must change your internal dialogue with your body. Remind yourself of the appreciation, admiration and gratitude you feel for how powerful you are. You made a human and your body is incredible, PERIOD (no pun intended).

My caffeinated, vegan-protein packed smoothie recipe is the ultimate energy boost. Because let’s be real — who has time to drink coffee without the risk of it spilling all over themselves while chasing a toddler. My smoothie is full of great ingredients like spinach, berries, bananas and — for those mornings where I’m extra hungry — a little almond butter does the trick.
Let’s be real: Being a mother is hard. It’s truly a labor of love. Motherhood means you’re constantly putting the happiness and well being of your little ones above your own. For me, in order to be the best mother, model, wife and friend, I have to allow myself time to recharge. My favorite self-care routine is yoga. I always leave feeling stronger, re-centered and more focused.
