Aloha, Babes! I’m so excited to share about our magical trip to the Four Seasons Maui because this was truly the vacation of my dreams. The best part was sharing this unforgettable experience with Henry, Hubby, and the Twins in my tummy.

I had the pleasure of staying at this resort roughly six months ago for HeyMama Fest with a group of savvy Mom Bosses who are all connected through our leadership roles at HeyMama. The Four Seasons Maui (the most stunning resort I’ve ever stayed at) and HeyMama (the successful social network syncing entrepreneurial mamas) hosted us all to an incredible four-day experience… and ever since then I was determined to be back on Maui time! Funny enough, during that trip we all took part in a sunrise meditation exercise on the beach out in front of the Four Seasons. We were all guided through this tranquil and truly spiritual experience to picture exactly what we wanted our life to look-like a year from now. Our spiritual guru suggested thinking of things in every category: personal, career, family, and even where you’d liked to go on your next vacation. I dove headfirst into this visualization exercise (because I love this type of thing). When it came to vacation, I could see so clearly being back in this very spot, but this time with my boys on either side of me. When our lovely guided meditation was over, the teacher told us all to keep picturing exactly what we wanted to manifest. I held on very closely to that piece of advice and never stopped dreaming of being back at the Four Seasons Maui with my sweet family.

And… fast-forward six months later… and I was back, baby! Exactly where I had manifested, but this time for my Twin Babymoon!

From the moment, Henry, Hubby, and I stepped onto the luxurious property it was a dream come true. Upon our arrival we were adorned with fragrant floral lei, given mouth-watering fresh pineapple (my fav), and the most refreshing ginger lemonade to keep cool… we all asked for a refill.

Walking into the resort is just so magical because of their open-air layout. You immediately see the ocean and can hear the waves crashing, with the soft flowy sounds of the most tranquil Polynesian music – it is truly tropical paradise. And it’s impossible to feel anything other than pure relaxation.

After check-in, we were escorted to our ocean-view room that overlooked the vibrant landscape of the property and the beautiful blue ocean. We could even see humpback whales in the distance breaching out of the water. we were so lucky to be there during whale season with a front row seat to their spectacular display of what almost looked like whale water ballet (literally, like a Pacific Life commercial).

Visiting our room was so very exciting because it was filled with so many personal details that made my cute toddler go nuts. The bathtub was clearly marked as his territory since H-E-N-R-Y was spelled out in colorful sponges along with “The Little Prince” bath essentials that every little would adore. On Henry’s bed was a new luvvy (what he calls stuffed animals) from his favorite Disney flick, Moana. As well as a bucket filled with tools to build the perfect sandcastle… which definitely came in handy on our days ahead at the beach.

During our stay, we took advantage of all the things the Four Seasons Maui had to offer. We logged hours poolside, alternating between the main pool, which had a large water fountain in the middle, and the kid pool that was equipped with a waterslide and large waterfall backdrop – so fun! We eagerly indulged in daily Popsicle Hour by the pool, which was complimentary. We often started each morning at Duo, one of the resort’s four decadent restaurants. Every day, Duo sets up the most extravagant breakfast buffet that is sure to satisfy the hearts of every guest. Whether you’re in the mood for sweet, savory, healthy, or all of the above, you will leave feeling full, I guarantee it (of course, my little guy just wanted a sprinkle donut every morning… that he would then dip into his bowl of Fruit Loops)! #onlyonvacation

After breakfast we would typically make the most difficult decision of the day: whether we were going to spend the day by the pool or the beach? Most days, we opted for the pool but we made numerous daily trips to swim in the ocean – typically every 2 hours or so. The beach out-front of the Four Seasons is so perfect, just another delightful amenity. It’s oriented in a way that feels private and it’s inviting to even the most amateur swimmers. However, to be safe, we always had my daredevil four-year-old in a lifejacket (and with Daddy). He loved getting “tackled by waves”, as he called it. That is, once he figured out that it’s best to keep your mouth closed when swimming in salt water – haha.

One of my favorite days of the trip had to be the day we spent lounging in one of their new Ocean View Cabanas. This was a dream because we were the perfect proximity to the pool with an amazing view of the sparkling blue ocean. Even my little guy was impressed. Upon arrival he said, “Mommy, this is the best part of my life”! His favorite detail was our own personal mini-fridge. Mama, on the other hand, loved the dedicated butler detail, the breathtaking views and truly luxurious setup all day long. I also loved that we could order lunch from my favorite restaurant at the resort, Ferraro’s, and have it delivered to our Cabana. Their Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is to die for, so fresh and authentic – my mouth is watering just remembering it.

Visiting Ferraro’s is a must, not just for lunch but for dinnertime too. You will dine beneath the stars at Wailea’s ONLY oceanfront restaurant. Pro tip, make sure to coordinate your reservation with the time of sunset. It’s the most incredible place to witness Maui’s one-of-a-kind glowing sunsets, and reservations are easy to make through the Four Seasons app. We saved this magical dinner experience for our last night and we were truly amazed by the service, (even our adorable waiter was from Italy), the delicious cuisine and the breathtaking ambience. I highly recommend the lobster pasta and the bruschetta – both were out of this world.

I could honestly go on and on about this resort. But all this to say – if you’re looking for a place to make memories with your family, experience first class service, and the most luxurious amenities, you need to add the Four Seasons Maui to your wish-list for 2020 (visualize, Mamas)! After seven days in heaven and the most magical memories made with both my Hubby and Henry, I can honestly say that I can’t imagine a more perfect place to have celebrated this new chapter for our family. I left the Four Seasons Maui daydreaming of our return and picturing being back as “Lawler, party of five”. Until then, I’m still admiring my tan, daydreaming of my beachside massage, and laughing about the memories of my Hubby and Henry wrestling the waves. And… I can’t wait to go back and order a non-virgin Piña Colada!
