The backstory, Cheree Berry Paper started as a custom stationery shop, and has gradually evolved into an award-winning graphic design firm. I was drawn to their stunning paper creations because I love their unique ability to create designs that are both sophisticated, fun, and oh-so memorable. Oh hey, showstopper!

After the twins were born, I knew I wanted to send out baby announcements to formally share their early arrival with all our extended family and close friends. I immediately thought of Cheree Berry Paper - a company I had always admired on the ‘gram and had dreamed of working with.

Lucky for me, that sweet dream came true! We decided to join forces to create custom baby announcements for the twins. I must say, the process of working and designing together has truly been a magical experience from start to finish.

We started this project with a creative phone call - where I shared some ideas and my vision and what I was hoping to create. I explained how I wanted to feature some of the precious newborn photos we captured of Brooks and Charlotte, plus a family snap or two. The trick about having boy-girl twins is figuring out how to incorporate both feminine and masucline details that look cohesive and SUPER pretty.

The design team suggested these three-fold cards from their recently launched baby announcement collection.that would offer my recipients “an experience” upon arrival. This sweet experience of receiving our exciting news starts with the elegant calligraphy on the front of the envelope and one of my favorite details - the customized “Brooks and Charlotte” envelope liners - so darling!

Once the envelope is opened - you're captivated by the classic light blue colored card tied together in a delicate gold ribbon. Upon opening, you find our family photos and all the details of their grand arrival (feels like yesterday). I was so in love with the design direction to highlight the twins' first names (Brooks & Charlotte) by having them printed in bold gold foil. Every sweet detail is just so perfect. What a special keepsake for us and our loved ones.

My loyal love affair to this brand also comes from the fact that the owner, Cheree Berry, happens to also be a total Modern Mama Boss Babe. This amazing female entrepreneur is a mama to three littles. She landed her first design job in the Big Apple and was the former art director at Kate Spade. She was responsible for launching their first wedding stationary line. Omg, I totally had Kate spade wedding invitations... such a full circle moment. After living that big city life she moved back to her hometown of St. Louis to launch her own company, Cheree Berry Paper. I can relate to her story on so many levels: the move, the Mama, the entrepreneurial spirit, and the passion for design and storytelling. However, she undoubtedly has a way unlike anyone else to weave her exceptional design eye into every detail of her gorgeous paper creations. There is no doubt that a lot of time, talent and gold foil (my favorite) has gone into making this extra fabulous company! Needless to say, it was a dream creating these extra-special baby announcements together.
